KDA: Submersible Aerators |
 |
Submersible aerators is a latest concept in wastewater treatment technology using proven submersible pumps . Aeration attachments like injector body , ventury nozzle are coupled to the submersible pump. When in operation, the unit sucks liquid from the bottom , air from the top. This air liquid mixture is then forced in the liquid tank through ventury nozzles thus imparting oxygen to the liquid. This concepts has a number of advantages over conventional surface aerators as below: |
| Advantages : |
- High transmission efficiency because of monoblock construction.
- Do not require investment in civil engineering works such as bridges and foundations.
- Free standing on the floor.
- Could be relocated at will.
- Not confined to a place.
- Maintenance is simple because the drive is direct and there is no reduction gear or line shafts which need attention, lubrication and maintenance.
- Not affected by foaming on the surface of the tank.
